There is an ongoing issue with the webmaster and the 

Oella website. This is what caused the delay in posting 

the minutes, among other items. May,June,and July's 

minutes are now posted to the website. The August minutes 

will not be posted until they have been approved by the Board.

 

The Board of Directors of any HOA is not required to post 

information on a website. In fact, the Board of any HOA is 

not required to have a website. The Oella HOA goes above 

and beyond what is required in an effort to keep the 

membership informed. Any member that is truly interest, 

as you are, need only contact this office.

I appreciate your reply and explanation, however, over 

the last several months the Oella HOA website has been 

updated by (name removed) on a number of occasions

for postings, so I find it hard to believe that such problems

were encountered only when posting the minutes.  

Funny how all those alleged web site problems magically 

cleared themselves up yesterday and the minutes appeared 

within hours of receipt of my email request.  Interesting 

how problems you described suddenly resolved themselves. 

I guess my email was more powerful than I imagined.

 

 

Minutes Magically Appear...but only after a Formal Written Request Was Made

Funny how the May/June/July Oella Board Minutes suddenly
appeared on the hoa website late last night....but only after
I sent an email request to see them. Ask yourself why
posting board minutes is such a difficult task? 

Ask yourself why the board would delay for months association
information that the community has a right
to see in a timely manner?  If the board members are too
busy then one might think the $25k/year management
company might be able to assist the board in this difficult
task.  Why does a member have to write to the board to
get information from meetings held months ago. I emailed
the board my request on Sept 1, 2010 8:13am and
magically the minutes were posted Wednesday,
September 01, 2010 10:12:01 PM.  I asked the
board for an explaination for the months of delay
for them to providing HOA information to it
membership, but have yet to receive any. Will
I even get the courtesy of a reply to my board
correspondence? I strongly suggest you read
the May/June/July minutes, many of the issues
talked about in the minutes are very disturbing
to me.

Someone please tell me why the Oella HOA Board of
Directors is not posting HOA Board meeting minutes for
May/June/July/August Board of Directors meetings?

As a member of this HOA I find this very disturbing. In
my opinion the Board has a duty to keep the HOA informed
and to present to the membership a TIMELY accounting
of all the association's state-of-affairs. Failure to provide
this accounting indicates their lack of committment to the
HOA membership. Perhaps the Board members should
consider resigning their positions.
